in MidJourney, adding –V 4 to your command ensures the AI uses version 4, which generates more refined and realistic images.

You can also customize the aspect ratio with the command –ar 2:3 (for a vertical image) or other options like 1:1 (square) or 3:2 (horizontal).

Once you hit enter, the AI will begin generating your image. In just a minute or two, you’ll see a set of four options based on your prompt.

Choosing and Refining Your Image

Now that the images are generated, it’s time to choose the one you like best. You’ll notice there are a few options:

• U1, U2, U3, U4: These stand for Upscale, which means the AI will take your favorite version and create a higher-resolution version of it.
• V1, V2, V3, V4: These stand for Variations, which generate four new images similar to the version you select.

For example, I chose V3, as it was closest to my vision, and the AI created four more images based on that version.

After reviewing the new options, I decided that the second image was the best, so I selected Upscale 2 to get a full-resolution version.

Saving and Downloading Your Artwork

Once you’ve upscaled your favorite image, you can download it directly from Discord. Simply click on the image, add a reaction using the email emoji, and the MidJourney bot will send you a high-resolution version of the artwork in your direct messages.
